Magnify Health at CrossFit St. Augustine

Seth Magnani is a Licensed Doctor of Physical Therapy and Certified Athletic Trainer. Originally from Upstate NY, he received his Bachelors of Science in Athletic Training from Ithaca College '09 with a minor in Sports & Exercise Psychology. He relocated to Florida and spent 1 year working full-time as an Athletic Trainer on-staff at the University of Florida, then went on to pursue his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of North Florida '13. His passion for teaching and educating also led him to teach as an adjunct clinical professor at UNF in the DPT program during the 2014-2019 academic years.

As a former collegiate tennis player and competitive beach volleyball player, fitness and wellness have always been important parts of his life. Metabolic conditioning and functional fitness have changed his life and outlook on physical wellness in general. Not only has his own ability and performance improved but seeing the tremendous impact it has had on countless others that he has coached/trained since 2017 has been highly rewarding.

Prior to also serving as the head coach at CrossFit St. Augustine, Seth has served as a coach/trainer at Trinity Fitness Ponte Vedra and also PhysWell Fitness | CrossFit NOC since 2015.

My Why: I love people and I love Jesus. I am called to serve and care for others as the Scripture says in 1 Peter 5:2, "Be shepherds of God's flock that is under your care, watching over them -- not because you must, but because you are willing, as God wants you to be; not pursuing dishonest gain, but eager to serve." I also do what I do, with all of my heart, for the betterment of my beautiful wife Meagan and our children, Ada and Shepard.

Ashley Patterson, LAT, ATC, MS, CF-L1, CPT

Magnify Health at Ormond Beach

Contract Athletic Therapist / Trainer

Ashley Patterson is a Certified Athletic Trainer. She was born and raised in Florida, but recently moved back to Florida from Utah. She attended The University of Central Florida, where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Athletic Training in 2011. Following her Bachelor’s Degree she became a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer for The University of Central Arkansas, where she received her Master’s Degree in Kinesiology in 2013 while working with Division 1 Football, Basketball, Baseball and Track & Field. Over the last 8 years, Ashley has been working with the United States Air Force where she has treated F-35 Fighter Pilots and Security Forces Service Members.

Ashley has been active her whole life, but found her love for swimming very early on. She swam competitively from ages 8-18 and sustained a season ending injury that could have been helped with proper care. Growing up in a small town did not allow the kind of services that she now provides for both injury prevention and treatment to continue a healthy and active lifestyle. Through the years, Ashley has found a passion for CrossFit and has been both performing CrossFit as well as coaching over the last 8 years. She has always had a passion for helping others. Athletic Training has been a rewarding career field that combines both her passions of promoting health and wellness along with taking care of others.

Ashley and her husband Mike have lived all over the country from Arkansas to Georgia and Utah, while her husband has served in the United States Air Force.

They enjoy traveling, snowboarding, camping, driving fast cars and spending time with their 15 year old Chihuahua, Yankee. They are excited to be back in Florida closer to family while her husband transitions to the Air Force Reserves after 15 years of Active Duty Service.

My Why: I love helping people get out of the place that pain brought them. Seeing how injuries can take the joy out of living an active life brings out a fierceness in me -- to show people that they can reach their goals from a more holistic approach while continuing to enjoy the things they love.
